Hi guys, going into my final year (May 18) and as a prior marine (3 times Iraq, 1 time Afghan vet) where is that Vet focused pod cast. Any info for veterans would be great. Thanks again guys and love the podcast.
I’m currently working in North Dakota, but I’m looking at an opportunity to do some oil service work in Bakersfield, CA. I love California and have friends that live in the area, but I’m a little worried about the future of oil in California. What are your thoughts and opinions about California’s current and long term situation with the Oil and Gas industry?
Also, if I stay in North Dakota there’s a good chance that I’ll have opportunity to work internationally. Any thoughts on sticking with North America vs going international for a while?
First thing is I love the show guys, I never miss an episode! I’m in a sales role and report to a senior account manager. He has been doing this type of work for over 20 years, so I really respect his experience and very large network with the major oil companies. But he and his peers seem to spend a lot of time (and money) on exhibiting at conferences and trade shows, taking clients out to eat and drink, playing golf and attending trade organizations cocktail events and lunches (Sorry Mark I know your on the board of the API). My question is this – is this really an effective approach for sales people to follow, which means I just have to keep doing this until I get better at it? And one last thing, my friends want to know if you and Jake have girlfriends/wives/significate others 😉 Keep up the awesome work!!!
